- PEAQ Technology Overview
- The new audio measurement standard is a joint development of
OPTICOM, the Fraunhofer Institute, German Telecom, the
University of Berlin, IRT Munich, KPN, the Netherlands, CCETT, France as well as the
Canadian research center CRC. It
combines both, the most recent proposals of psychoacoustic based measurement techniques,
and the latest advances in
psychoacoustic research and development. This chapter provides an overview on the PEAQ
technology.
